Lakers would get kidd but be able to keep lamar, bynum, and kobe, plus kidd wants out and is unhappy right now.

the nets would be getting curry, who can help them score down low and that could be an answer to their problems if he loses weight and gets in top b-ball shape. plus they get crittenton, a pg who the lakers think will become a star. they also get an expiring contract in fred jones, and a 3 point shooter which they badly need in vlad radmonavic. MOST IMPORTANTLY, THEY GET CASH TO REBUILD.

The knicks get kwame's expiring contract, which will help them GREATLY considering how much they're "in debt".Plus they get Josh Boone who can turn out to be like a david lee kinda guy, and luke walton who could bring sum unselfishness to the team for once. Plus, Zach Randolph could become their #1 option, so they wouldn't have problems onTHEbloc

Not bad, but unless you're counting on Chris Mihm and DJ Mbenga to play center, I can't see how the Lakers can afford to make this deal, even if New York and New Jersey were willing. The trade deadline is February 21st, and Andrew Bynum isn't due back until mid March.

Frankly, I think New Jersey is leaning towards doing the deal with Dallas.
Interesting trade. Jason Kidd is the only great player in that trade. But the rest of the players are just good players.
The lakers lose 3 players, they will have no bench after this. And The Nets get **** out of this.

its ok for the lakers in that they keep bynum odom and kobe and gain a superstar but dont forget bynum is injured so sum1 has to start at center?? turiaf? mihm? dunno if kwame will be dealt at this juncture
