I would have to say no, I mean all of the players the nets are getting have only one year left on thier contract and I doubt they want that, unless they are rebuilding and they are not. Also Marcus Williams is a young player on the rise and they really don't want to give him up. Carter yeah maybe they might want to clear some cap, but now that Kidd wants out they might want to keep him. It's not that the trade wouldn't be possible, but rather improbable due to the difference in skill of the players, I mean the Raptors would have to throw in a draft pick or two.
If Carter was in Raptors. I'd have Bosh tell Toronto to forget about te past and to forgive Carter. I MISS U CARTER!! PLEASE COME BACK!!! Honestly Toronto want Carter and T-Mac back they just act likethey hate them

Idk, I'm not sure New Jersey is looking for a big man, because they already have a rising star in Sean Williams.
Carter WILL NOT ever go back to Raptor-ville..and the nets would like much more than that for him. And that trade probably wouldn't happen because they are in the same division. the nets wouldn't trade one of their best players to a division team that is better than them let alone that they might still trade Jason Kidd and that would leave them with only Richard Jefferson.

Rough chances of that ever happening...
